Airescot Red Redee
Swedish, Danish, Finnish Champion & International Champion
"Redee"
(Ch Sporting Field's Irish Mist - Ch

Born: 1996

UPDATE 19 December 2007
My most beloved Whippet has left me. Redee had a stroke and lost all control of herself.
Next month we would
have celebrated her 12th birthday.
A week ago she was running in the woods like a youngster, now she is suddenly
dead.
It's very difficult to accept that we'll never more see her happy smile and everwagging tail.
She had the perfect Whippet temperament, for me there will never be another one
like her.
What Airescot Gillian Lynne meant to me among Deerhound bitches,
Redee has meant to me among Whippets bitches.
The picture below was taken by Carl-Emil six months ago.

UPDATE 17 May 2005
At the two Sigthound Specialties in Norway May 14 and 15 Redee was most
successful both days,
winning BOB, BIS-3, BIS-2 Veteran the first day and winning 2nd Best Bitch and
BIS-Veteran the following day.
Below is a picture of Redee, taken by Monica Presthus.

Redee was Sweden's top winning Debutante in 1997
and one of the top winning bitches.
In 1998 she was hardly shown at all, but had her first litter.
In 1999 she had another successful year in the rings, winning her qualifying
CACIB
and ending up Nr. 2 among Sweden's Top Winning Whippet Bitches.

with the Airescots and has her own page.
10 April 2000 Redee gave birth to a litter by Jason -
2 males + 3 bitches

UPDATE 10 October 2004
Now almost 9 years old Redee made one of her rare
appearances in the show ring yesterday
at the SKK Int Show in Sundsvall, where Diane Anderson, USA, gave her an
excellent critique and made her
second best bitch from Veteran class. In the main ring Nils Molin gave her BIS-2
Veteran.

UPDATE November 2003
We suddenly realize that we have totally
neglected to report on Redee's
quite remarkable success, when twice shown in England this Spring, at the age of
7 years.
When Rascal started his English career we thought it might be interesting
for British Whippet people to see his dam, so we had entered her for WELKS
and for the National Whippet Association Championship Show.
At WELKS there was no Veteran Class, so Redee was entered in Open Class,
where Ferelith Hamilton made her 2nd of 19 bitches, a very honourable placing.
At the Whippet Specialty, bitches were
judged by Jessie McLeod (Peperone), who chose
Redee for her Best Veteran bitch. Dogs had been judged by Roger Stock (Courthill),
and together they decided to make Redee BIS Veteran,
after which the informal picture below was taken.
