As from today "Petter" is no
more.
After 13 good years he has left his owner Åke Cronander,
who really loved this very special whippet.

At this year's Whippet Specialty at
Skokloster/Tammsvik
"Petter" won BIS-veteran at 12½ years of age,
as always owner-handled by Åke Cronander.

Waistcoat was Sweden's Top Winning Whippet in 1991 and 1992
In 1991 he won BIS at the Skokloster Breed Specialty, judge Ian Doherty, Australia.
In 1992 Ian Doherty imported to Australia the puppy Airescot
Chaconne
by Waistcoat ex. Ch Merci Isle Whisper to a Purr.
Austr. Ch A. Chaconne has been an important stud dog "down under", and his blood
lines
were further strenghtened when "Petter" himself spent 1996 with the Martinique
kennels.
Father and son have sired several Australian BIS-winners.
In 1999 Waistcoat is still going strong - he was top winning whippet veteran
in Sweden in 1997 and 1998,
and he is still to be found among the overall top winning whippets.
