I was very pleased to be allowed to choose the
name Cecily
for this puppy in honour of Cecily Cox, kennel Dufault, England.
Cecily Cox is not only my oldest and dearest friend in Deerhounds
(the first Deerhound I imported from Great Britain was a Dufault,
and he came to me in Norway 28 years ago!),
Cecily was also one of the first judges to choose Jihad's Birth of Dunkeld,
dam of my Cecily, as her winner when judging in Californa several years ago.
