Beatrix' first litter

From this litter Ch Airescot Buccaneer has now, at the age of 4½ years,
matured into a handsome, masculine whippet of perfect size.
BEST IN SHOW at the Skokloster Whippet Club Specialty 2002
was his first big win, but perhaps not his last. His owner is
Petronella Thunblom, who is also the owner of Buccaneer's top winning sire.
On this occasion Buccaneer was very well handled by Pernilla Råberg.
Judge of the males and BIS was Michael Howgate (Palmik), GB.
At the Sighthound Specialty the following day Mary Beth Arthur (Marial), USA, placed Buccaneer second best male, another top honour.

UPDATE 26 FEBRUARY 2001

The third one out in this litter to gain his Swedish champion title
was A. Burnaby. At the Swedish Sighthound Club Specialty in Köping
Jackie White (Baldrey Whippets) gave him his third CC
and also made him Best Dog and BOS. BOB was Ch Carmodey Potpurri.

At the Stockholm Int Championship show in December 2000
Beatrix was there to compete with her first progeny group,
consisting of four reds in various shades. Judge Pamela Cross Stern
chose them for best progeny group in the breed, and, in great competition
with other breeds in the big ring, Kari Järvinen placed them BIS-3.
In Torsten Widholm's picture below Beatrix to the far left is followed
by A. Border Coral, A. Bonnie Maid, Ch A. Buccaneer and A. Burnaby.

By January 1st 2001 six of the seven puppies have been shown
and have each won one or more CC:s in Sweden.

The first one out to win the qualifying CC for the Swedish title was Bettina
