At the International All Breeds Show in Naples,
Italy, last weekend
Ch Airescot Gold Field won BOB with CACIB under judge Annika Ulltveit-Moe,
Sweden, and went on to Group II, judged by Ana Salas Mesto, Spain.
This time "Spencer" was handled by Arnaldo's wife Annalisa Rovani.
Winner of the Sighthound Group and later Best in Show
was another Swedish bred dog, the Greyhound Epic Beautiful at Sobers,
owned and handled by Bitte Ahrens (Sobers Greyhounds and Italian Greyhounds).
Group III was the Irish Wolfhound Lecapitainefracasse dei Mangialupi.

Show in Athens, Greece, October 18th, 2003
Ch Airescot Gold Field won CAC, CACIB, BOB, Group I and BIS-2!
As reported below "Spencer" is temporarily staying with the
Sobresalto Whippets
in Italy and was handled in Athens by Arnaldo Cotagno. Judge was Hans van der
Berg.

From the Sobresalto kennels we have just heard
about the arrival in Italy
of Can Ch Airescot Gold Field, who will stay with the Sobresaltos for two
years
to be shown and to be used at stud.
We wish them all lots of success!

At one of the Eastern Specialty shows in
Philadelphia, USA, a couple of weeks ago
"Spencer", Can Ch Airescot Gold Field, won a FIVE POINT MAJOR
from an entry of 155 whippets. Judge: Kathy Davenport (Kamada whippets).
Congratulations to his owner Sharon Sakson and co-owner
and handler Jenny McCartney.

Specialty in Denver in April.
UPDATE April 12, 2002
Yesterday, at the
American Whippet Club National Specialty in Denver,
Can Ch Airescot Gold Field, now 20 months old,
won Third in Open dog from an entry of 25 dogs in this class.
It was his first time out in the US-show rings. The judge is Isabell
Stoffers,
and the breed judging goes on for four days.
"Spencer" (by Ch Statuesque Extortion ex. Ch Paris Beatrix of Tiber)
is owned by Beatrix' breeder Sharon Sakson but has been living
with Jenny McCartney in Canada, who has handled him very successfully there
and now also handled him at the National. The picture below was taken last
Summer in Canada, but hopefully we'll soon get one from the National.

Field, now called Spencer,
is currently staying with and being shown in Canada by Jenny McCartney.
Not yet one year old he has just achieved his Canadian champion title
and won Best Puppy in Show!
