"Gimmi" declares herself in whelp!

UPDATE April 3

Winterkloud Hector, born April 2, 2007, celebrated his first birthday by mating our bitch Schnaffentangens Gimmi Gimmi.
He has just arrived from England and will soon have his own page here with more information, pictures and pedigree.
He is by GB Ch Avantgarde Prince Rupert of Cransbere ex. Winterkloud Liberty, an older full sister of our successful Winterkloud Frejya.
Hector was qualified for Crufts 2008, where he was the winner of five in Puppy Dog.
He's very full of himself and we look forward to Gimmi's litter by him in the beginning of June.
From her first litter, by "Ross", Ch Yarrow's Jungle Jim, Airescot Peer Gynt is now 10 months old.

UPDATE February 4

As we won't get the helping hand with taking puppy pictures, which we had expected this week,
here are the 5½ week pictures taken last week, with the help of Ilona.
Not enough light, but at least you can see the outline of the puppies.

UPDATE  February 1

Finally, kindly assisted by our guest Ilona from Latvia, we managed to take some snapshots

of our four Affenpinscher puppies, now 5½ weeks old.

Below the two boys and the two girls, pictured with flashlight.
We also took some nice individual and stacked pictures of them,
but to rely on daylight giving enough light for those shots was not one of my better ideas,
so next week we'll have another try with stacked pictures and hope for a better result.

UPDATE January 22

Today Micki's Christmas puppies are four weeks old and enjoying each other and their minced meat.
Next week we'll try to take some individual pictures.
No doubt it's very difficult to take good pictures of this furry black breed.

UPDATE January 8

Micki's four Christmas puppies, now two weeks old, have just opened their eyes,
but in the snapshot below they still only come out as black lumps.

The boys are named Airescot Christmas Cracker and A. Christmas Gift,
the bitches A. Christmas Carol and A. Christmas Eve.

UPDATE December 27

Christmas Day, December 25, "Micki" quickly and easily gave birth to four puppies by "Knutte".
In the Update below you'll find information and pedigree of the litter,
so today we'll just add that there are two males and two bitches in this lovely litter.

UPDATE October 30

October 23 "Micki", Terrietype I'm Jane Airescot,
 was bred to "Knutte", Anzolas Vincent Black Shadow, still a youngster
but already winner of several CC's in Sweden and currently #4 on the Swedish Affenpinscher list for 2007.
Apart from at the Swedish Affenpinscher Specialty, reported on in the Update below, Micki has only been shown once
 and was then awarded the bitch CC. She is sired by "Ross", Ch Yarrow's Jungle Jim, in his first Scandinavian litter.
"Ross" was Sweden's top winning Affenpinscher in 2006 and is the current top winner also for 2007.

"Micki" is not small but very sound and has a wonderful temperament.
"Knutte" is of lovely size, has a great temperament and is, like Micki, very happy in the ring.
If all goes well we expect the litter to be born on Christmas Eve - perfect timing, indeed!

This page has for some reason not been Updated as it should have been
as in 2007 we have had our first Affenpinscher litter and are expecting a second one.

June 5 our bitch Schnaffentangens Gimmi Gimmi gave birth to two puppies,
of which only the male Airescot Peer Gynt came out alive.
He is sired by Ch Yarrow's Jungle Jim.
Peer is still owned by Airescot and has his own page on this website.

Now, in October 2006, breeding Affenpinschers doesn't seem so far away
as it did in June.

Next Summer we hope to breed Gimmi Gimmi to Ross,
and late next year we might possibly breed "Micki" to a new import.

Breeding Airescot Affenpinschers seems very far away when we write June 2006
 

So far we only have two bitch puppies,
Schaffentangens Gimmi Gimmi and Terrietype I'm Jane Airescot,
but in due course we hope for Airescot puppies playing like these above.

At this stage we are very pleased that "Ross" has already sired three lovely litters in Sweden
with a fourth one on its way.
